Book Week – An Annual Event

Book Week 2014

We celebrated Book Week 2014 through author visits, lunchtime storytelling, reading competitions, author based classroom activities as well as the children coming into school dressed as their favourite book character. The Book Fair was also held, which encouraged families to visit school and buy new novels, with all children having the chance to spend their £1 World Book Day Voucher.

The pictures below show how much fun we had throughout the week!

We acknowledged World Book Day 2015 with the children coming into school dressed as their favourite book character.

The Book Fair also returned, which encouraged families to visit school and buy new novels, with all children having the chance to spend their £1 World Book Day Voucher. The Book Fair also raised funds for our school to spend on class novels.

The pictures below show some of our fantastic book characters!
